Travel China

When I was with my friend in Beijing

As my mom woke me up, I heard the voices of my grandparents talking on the phone. Today is the day I go to
China by myself. I bought
tours to china and the Chinese travel agent is based in
Beijing.
Beijing tour guide I found on the web gave me enough information about Beijing.I got dressed quickly and ran downstairs to eat breakfast. I would carry three bags to
China. Two would get checked in and a small suitcase will come with me onto the plane. My plane leaves at 12:00 at

Washington
D.C.
National
Airport. It took three hours to drive there, so I brought a book to read on the car. I go by myself onto a plane that leaves to
Beijing at 12:00. Once landing a flight attendant will guide me until I find my grandparents.

As we neared the airport I could see planes of all different colors and sizes. My plane is a Boeing 747. After we checked all our bags in, we went to the security checkpoint. Unfortunately, only one of my parents can accompany me past the checkpoint. My mom decided to go with me. As I passed the metal detector, I took one last look at my dad, waved to him and left with my mom to the terminal. My mom took me to a sushi stand in the food court. I ate a dragon roll and was completely full. As we walked down the terminals, there were flags of all the different countries hanging on the ceiling.

I hugged my mom and said one last goodbye before I disappeared down the hallway. Once I got onto the plane, a Boeing 747, the attendant took me to my seat and I pulled everything I needed out of my suitcase. As we headed out, I took one more look at the airport and closed the window. In the air, I pulled out my laptop and looked around for games. I found a game about penguins and it was pretty cool. After my computer ran out of power, I went to my bag and took out my KUMON math homework. As usual, I had to do two pages of multiplying square roots. Later, the flight attendants started serving lunch (maybe breakfast). I chose the chicken platter. Just thinking of it now as I type hurts my head since the taste was so foul I could throw up. After eating only a couple of bites, I placed everything back into my bag and laid my head down for a nice rest.

I woke up just as the plane hit the ground. The airport I landed at is the new

Chinese
National
Airport. It was built for the Olympics and further purposes. My plane will be stopping at the new Terminal 3. Inside, I could hear the buzzing of the crowd. I and the other child stepped through the customs area by ourselves. We joined our flight attendant on the other side. We had to take a small train to get from the landing terminal to the baggage claim area. I had two big bags. One was red the other a Reebok duffel bag. I walked into the area where people wait for their friends and family and looked around for my grandparents. Actually, they found me first. While they signed my check out form, I looked around the airport. It was quite big and had a lot of Olympic ads. Our taxi ride took about 45 minutes to my grandparents’ house. There, I would meet my baby cousin, Bobo. I opened the door to my grandparents’ house and heard everybody like my aunt and uncle shout “Welcome”.

Before the travel in china is finished, my grand parents called me and asked me something about china tour guides. As they all greeted me, I realized that my other grandparents where here too. My grandmother took me to take a shower as both my grandparents talked to each other. I got out of the shower and decided to take a nap.
